TGI....Th?

Thank goodness it's Thursday?!? I have a love/hate relationship with Thursdays. I love Thursdays because it's kind of my Friday (since I only work Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays) and once I leave my office Thursday afternoon I begin my loooong weekends. However, I hate Thursdays because David has to be to work early on Thursdays for his staff meetings. That means I'm on my own getting The Three Little Lams ready for the day and out the door by 7:45 (okay, let's be realistic 8:00-8:15). So every Thursday we have a rough start. Today wasn't too bad though, except Katie and Patrick got in a fight over the newspaper because Katie wanted to look at the 'Scene' section which featured a big spread on all the cosmetic products and fashions that the gals from 'Sex and the City' would be sporting in the movie (that opens tomorrow). Katie then proceeded to go into the bathroom and cover herself with her roll-on glitter. She did not cover her arms or neck/chest--no--she put it all around her eyes. She looked like she could have the feature roll in Xanadu! (I know all you 80's people saw the word 'Xanadu' and instantly thought about roller skating--unless you're a dude and then you probably were picturing Olivia Newton John in her 'Let's Get Physical' spandex outfit)!

Anywho...Katie went to preschool looking fabulously sparkly with her lavender glittery eyes! I could do a whole blog on Katie and her fashion sense--but we'll save that for another day.

So other than that, our Thursday has been somewhat uneventful. Took Josie to the doctor for her 9 month check up. She's perfect--but we knew that, right? And no shots needed today--yipee! David and I went to lunch together--without kids! It was great--even if it was at the Health Plaza deli.

There she is in all her spandex-glory! I think I'll get a shirt with my name written in huge letters across the chest! :)

Here we go...

My friend, Susie, talked me into creating a blog and after much resistence I figured I'd give it a try. Why not...I've got all the time in the world and am sitting around on the computer all the time, right? But I decided it would be my futile attempt to stay connected and re-connect with my friends and of course my family. So hopefully it won't be a bore and I can give everyone a little laugh everyday--or most days (pretty sure this won't be something I can keep up with daily). Our family certainly has enough entertaining moments to put a smile on your face.

This photo is enough to make anyone laugh. This is Josie with her flower hat on. Josie is 9 months old now. Isn't that hard to believe? It seems like it was just yesterday when I was standing there speechless as my doctor told me I was pregnant--again! (I'm not sure if I dropped the phone or started crying first). But now as each day flies by I can't imagine our lives without that precious little baby. Her brother and sister think she's pretty awesome, too. As you can imagine our household is pretty much a three-ring circus--one ring for each one of the little Lams! :) So stay tuned for the latest Lam Family Folly! I promise I'll try to keep our blog current!
